Nov. 8: A Chill In The Air

We've fallen back, and it's time to bundle up, Forest Hills.

Now that the days are getting darker earlier, and mild fall temperatures are giving way to colder, biting winds, it might be time to seek a little shelter in the evenings.

Just because it's a good idea to stay inside, however, doesn't mean you can't have some fun in your neighborhood. There's a lot to do and a lot to learn in Forest Hills. Here are five things you need to know today:

1.     Congratulate and all of the Forest Hills finishers of yesterday's New York City Marathon. The 26.2 mile, five borough run is a race on a level all its own, and it takes real guts to make it through the entire course.

2.     There are other athletes in the area too! Be sure to stop by to see the team play its final game of the year before the 2010 playoffs.
