Jan. 28: Be Careful With That Snow Shovel

There is almost nowhere left to put all the stuff.

One month after the sixth-largest snowfall in the city’s history, yet another storm has sealed New York’s snowiest month on record, dumping still more inches on a snow-weary populace.

What’s it going to take to get back to normal? And more importantly, where can I put my car so that I won’t have to dig it out again?

While the weather service is calling for a couple more light flurries this week, we seem to be entering a period of low-snow activity. Though the way this past month has gone, who knows?

As yesterday, share your snow removal tips below, and don’t forget to rest often when you’re shoveling the walk, and help your neighbors clear those fire hydrants.
