Jan. 13: Enough Snow For A While

After yet another storm, we're ready for a break. How about you?

So the city seemed to do a much better job with the snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, despite the 7-to-9 inches that fell in many areas of the city.

Here in Forest Hills, we had right around 7 inches of snow in most areas, with larger drifts from plows on curbs.

According to Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the city only had to plow 30 cars in the course of the entire storm, certainly a lower number than the blizzard of last month.
