How Will You Observe Patriot Day?

--

For New York City residents, Sept. 11 brings myriad emotions each year. In 2011, New Yorkers observed the tenth anniversary of the attacks, and viewing for the first time the completed memorial in Lower Manhattan.

Each year, Sept. 11 is held up as a day of service and remembrance, and people choose to observe it in different ways.

Some help their neighbors, some meditate on the lives of lost loved ones and friends.
