It was a long week of campaigning in Forest Hills, with residents making their final decisions about who's going to represent them at the state and federal level.

Wednesday

We took a look at candidates Andrew Hevesi and Alex Powietrzynski from the 28th assembly district. As well, police announced they made an arrest in an investigation into bomb threat calls made last month.

Thursday

In the morning, ground was broken at the Aqueduct Racetrack in South Ozone Park. It remains to be seen if Forest Hills residents will make a trek to the new racino when it opens in six months.

Friday
