Forest Hills: Your Lowest Gas Prices

It’s officially the dead of winter now, with short, cold days giving way to long, windy nights.  But the cold outside hasn’t stifled gas prices in the area at all, with a lot of spare change necessary to fill up the tank lately.

To help you out when it’s time for a fill-up, we’ve put together some of the lowest gas prices in the area, courtesy of www.motortrend.com.

Here are some of your lowest gas prices, available at Forest Hills Patch every Monday morning.

For the lowest price on a gallon of regular gas, the cheapest fill-up in the area is at the Gulf station just on the other side of the Rockaway Line on Metropolitan Avenue.

Filling up the tank there will cost about $3.329 per gallon.

If you’re looking for mid-grade or premium gasoline, the cheapest prices on both are available at one location, the full-service Getty station at 75-41 Yellowstone Boulevard. Mid-grade gas there costs $3.439 per gallon, and a fill-up for a tank full of premium is going to cost about $3.539 per gallon.

Looking for diesel fuel? The Hess station at 104-09 Atlantic Avenue in South Ozone Park is selling it by the gallon for $3.599.
