Forest Hills Patch: A Look Back At One Year!

We mark our anniversary with a look at the first story we every published.

Today is the one year anniversary of the launch of Forest Hills Patch, and we’re taking a look back at what things were like when we first got started in your neighborhood.

Before we do that however, it’s important that we take a minute to thank you for reading, subscribing, and posting your comments on our site.

Forest Hills Patch has been a great success because of the engagement of our readers and the people who come to the site to read our stories.

Forest Hills Residents Recount Tornado Tales

That story, about the tornado and macroburst that struck Forest Hills in mid-September, was one of the first stories to be published on our site on launch day.

Since then, we’ve brought you hundreds more like it, and tried hard to keep you up to date on everything that’s happening in your neighborhood.

To everyone who has sent in a tip, told a friend about the site or checked back every day to read our stories: Thank you!

To those of you who are just discovering us, please look around, and don’t be afraid to send some suggestions!

Thanks again, and we look forward to many more years of serving your community.
