Dec. 24-26: Christmas Eve Will Find You Here At Patch!

We're still busy even if you're trying to kick back a little before the big day!

'Twas the night before Christmas and all over Patch, there were lots of things stirring, because frankly, the news never sleeps! During one of the busiest, chilliest times of the year, there are plenty of things to keep you entertained in Forest Hills.

Whether you're trying to celebrate the holiday or if you're just trying to keep your sanity with dozens of relatives in town, we've got you covered for the holiday weekend right here.

Here are five things you need to know for this weekend in Forest Hills:

1.     At 11:30 p.m. tonight Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Forest Hills will be hosting Christmas carols in advance of their Midnight Mass. Come back later this morning to get a rundown of Christmas Eve and Christmas events at churches around the community.

2.     On Christmas Day, spend a little time getting fit for charity with , all proceeds from the class will pay for the studio's upcoming charity trip to Nicarauga. Work off that Christmas goose before you even eat it!

3.     On the Christmas, make sure to check out our list of places that are open on Christmas day just in case you need a bite to eat!

4.     Don't forget about the event at the Jewish Center near MacDonald Park. It's an educational mitzvah!

5.     Coming up later today, we'll have the results of Wednesday night's wrestling match at Forest Hills High School.
