Dec. 10: A Weekend For Music And Winter Weather

Lots happening on a wintry weekend in the neighborhood.

It's another freezing Friday in Forest Hills. Has the weather got you down? Tired? Sick even? It's certainly too cold to stay outside for very long. Especially this weekend, with temperatures in the high 30's and low 40's and a wintry mix expected to fall all over the city.

Make sure you stay safe, stay dry and stay warm in your neighborhood, whatever you decide to do.

1.     Council Speaker Christine Quinn will be at the Reform Temple of Forest Hills about diversity and bullying this evening.

2.     The Zadroga bill, designed to create a fund for 9/11 first responders, is in limbo in the Senate.

3.     On Sunday, there is a fundraiser, featuring Leonard Lopate, raising money for the CQY's library in Forest Hills.

4.     Also on Sunday, stop by the at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs church.
