Borough President Captures Sandy's Devastation

Some of the most evocative photos of the hurricane's aftermath have come from Marshall's office.

Queens Borough President Helen Marshall toured the hurricane-ravaged neighborhoods of Breezy Point, Far Rockaway and Broad Channel this week.

As she spoke to borough residents — many of whom had been left homeless by the storm —

Her office shared some of their remarkable photos. Paired with the photos of Sandy's wrath in Forest Hills and across Brooklyn and Long Island, they make for a grim, post-storm portrait.

Helen Marshall does not give a damn about Queens. Can't wait for her tired ass to go! Queens needs a dynamic leader with some backbone.
