Alternate Side Parking Suspended for Sept. 3

Drivers will not need to move their cars on Monday as the city celebrates Labor Day.

Don't bother moving the car tomorrow, unless it's parked in front of a hydrant or something. If that's the case, you should probably move it now.

Alternate side parking has been suspended on Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day, according to the city's Department of Transportation.

There will be no street cleaning and parking meters will not be in effect on the holiday. Government offices will also be closed for the day.
