What Should Fill The Empty Space That Used To Be The OTB?

With the economy slowly improving, it's only a matter of time, right?

across the five boroughs, there has been an empty space in a primo spot on Queens Boulevard.

Just under and around the corner from Forest Hills' restaurant row in the shadow of the famous , the former OTB parlor has been gathering dust, graffiti and litter for nearly a year.

The unused storefront is located on one of the most trafficked blocks in the neighborhood, in front of a subway station used by 27,000 commuters every day, according to the MTA.

Admittedly, the storefront's glass brick facade would have to be rehabbed, and with , things might be noisy for a while, but we think it could be a great spot for an enterprising local business to grow.
