New Businesses Open for Black Friday

VapeNY and Twist and Smash'd make their debuts on the year's biggest shopping day.

Two new businesses have opened on Austin Street just in time for Black Friday.

VapeNY, an e-cigarette store that opened at the former Aminence site, debuts its first Queens site at 72-32 Austin St. today. The first VapeNY opened in Manhattan in 2011.

And Twist and Smash'd, a burger restaurant, also plans to open today. The eatery, located at 72-06 Austin St., serves burgers, chicken and waffles and twisted potatoes on a stick.

Last week, Bareburger opened its expanded site on Austin Street, adding in a new bar and more seats.
