With the Oscars on tap for Sunday, now is your last chance to see any of the big movies you may have missed. There’s also some new stuff in theaters, as well.
Act of Valor stars active-duty Navy SEALS in an action movie that more or less blurs the line between what’s Hollywood and what’s on the evening news. Whether it’s just typical action movie stuff or whether it crosses the line into some kind of weird new propoganda is for you to decide.
Those looking for some comedy can also check out Wanderlust, starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston as a couple at a crossroads in their relationship. They decide to take some time away from the big city at a commune, and the results are pretty much what you’d expect. It’s directed by noted absurd humorist David Wain.
