Laytner's to Close at Year's End

Laytner's Linen & Home will close its Forest Hills store at the end of the year, an employee said Tuesday.

The store, which specializes in bed linens and home furnishings, will shutter it's locale at 72-19 Austin St. on Dec. 31.

"The landlord jacked up the price on the rent," said an employee at the store who did not give his name.

Laytner's will offer sales later in the year as it approaches its closing date.

The chain also operates stores in Manhattan and one in Park Slope.
