We pushed back our weekly look at the lowest gas prices around town because of all the news on Monday. So here, now is our somewhat belated look at how things around your neighborhood are looking from the perspective of the local gas pump.

If you’re trying to find the lowest price on regular gasoline in the area, the smartest place to look is on Metropolitan Avenue. They’re selling regular-grade petrol for just $3.979 per gallon.

And that’s not all, they’ve got the lowest price on mid-range gasoline, as well, selling plus gasoline for $4.079 per gallon.
If you’re looking to fill up with premium gasoline, you’re going to have to head somewhere else, specifically the Gulf station just down the block at 91-01 Metropolitan Ave. right on the Forest Hills border.

If you need some diesel fuel, the best place to look today is the Mobil station in Rego Park, located at 68-27 Woodhaven Blvd.
They’re selling the diesel for $4.699 per gallon.
