Forest Hills: Your Lowest Gas Prices

For the second week in a row, our gas prices column is looking at a near clean-sweep of the lowest gas prices in the area.

Last week, on Metropolitan Avenue had the three lowest prices on unleaded gasoline in the area, and this week it’s more of the same. If you’re looking to fill up the tank on the cheap in Forest Hills, Sunoco seems to be the place to go.

For regular unleaded, you can fill up at the station for just $3.859 per gallon, at Sunoco.

Their price on mid-grade gasoline is the lowest in the area as well, coming in at $3.899 per gallon.

For higher-grade premium unleaded, you can fill your tank at the Metropolitan Avenue station for $4.099 per gallon.

If you’re looking for diesel fuel, you’ve got to change locations, however. The lowest price on diesel in the area is at the Mobil station at 68-27 Woodhaven Blvd. in Rego Park.

Diesel fuel is on sale there for $4.599 per gallon.
