Forest Hills: Your Lowest Gas Prices

It’s the first day of the workweek, and that means it’s time again to take a look at the lowest gas prices in the area to help you make your fueling decisions.

Gas remains slightly lower than its peak a couple weeks ago, but things at the pump certainly aren’t going easy on the wallet.

If you’re looking to fill up with regular gas, the best place to find the lowest price around is at the Gulf Station at 91-01 Metropolitan Ave. on the border of Rego Park and Forest Hills. Gas is selling for $3.999 per gallon there, the lowest price in the area.

For mid-grade and plus gasoline, look no further than the station just down Metropolitan. Plus is on sale there for $4.219 per gallon.

If you need to fill up with premium, head on back to the Gulf again, where you can pick it up for the relatively reasonable price — for the area anyway — of $4.239 per gallon.

If you’re looking for diesel fuel, head over to the Mobil station at 68-27 Woodhaven Blvd. in Rego Park. You can fill up with diesel there for $4.599 per gallon.
