Forest Hills Greenmarket to Return This Weekend

Fresh veggies and more return to your neighborhood.

Produce lovers, rejoice!

The Forest Hills Greenmarket, which debuted to rave reviews last year, will be returning on April 7, complete with all the locally-sourced fruit, vegetables and baked goods you've been jonesing for.

In addition to stocking your pantry, this year the greenmarket will feature cooking demonstrations, events for kids and more, according to managment group GrowNYC.

Starting in June, environmentally-conscious residents can drop of compost, as well. 

The greenmarket operates at Queens Boulevard and 70th Avenue, in front of the post office, every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be continue through the end of 2013.
