Bus Stop Boutique to Shutter Doors Tonight

Store has been operating on Austin Street for 38 years.

Forest Hills boutique Bus Stop will close its doors permanently this evening, a store manager said.

The business, which is located at 71-51 Austin St., sells everything from clothing to antique furniture.

Bus Stop, which has been located on Austin Street for 38 years, could eventually reopen at another spot in the commercial strip, the manager said.

The boutique was forced to close after the building was sold and the rent increased.

Bareburger, which operates next door, will expand into Bus Stop's former locale.

A blow-out sale is currently taking place at the shop and will last through the evening.
