Austin Street's Perfume Globe to Close

Perfume Globe is the latest business on Austin Street to be going out of business.

The store, located at 71-52 Austin St., sells women's perfumes, men's colognes, body lotions and shower gels.

A sign in the store's window reads that the shop is going out of business and currently offering 25 to 50 percent off its merchandise.

A number of Austin Street stores have shut their doors permanently in recent months, including Austin Jeans, Aminence, Garcia's Mexican Cafe and Bus Stop boutique.

And Laytner's plans to close its doors later this month.
