NYC Winter JazzFest

This week's pick for "Over the Hump" is the 2013 Winter JazzFest.

It's a celebration of jazz at six different venues in lower Manhattan, and dozens of notable jazz musicians, playing alone and together.

The event lasts two days, starting on Friday, Jan. 11 and going through Saturday, Jan 12.

Venues include Bowery Electric, The Bitter End and Le Poisson Rouge — single day passes are $35 and you can get the whole weekend for $45.
