Join us for an evening of wine, light food, music and fun readings, all on the theme of transition from Old World to New World. Margot Leverett and the Klezmer Mountain Boys will perform a fusion of klezmer and bluegrass!
Featuring authors and musicians from Eastern Europe, including Anya Ulinich who emigrated from Russia to Phoenix, Arizona, and won the prestigious Sami Rohr Prize for her book, Petropolis; Boris Fishman (born in Minsk), editor of The Wild East: Stories from the Last Frontier, about life in the Soviet Union, and writer and editor for The New Yorker.
