Weekend Traffic Advisory: June 2 & 3

Here are the streets to avoid in your car this weekend.

Traffic patterns in Queens may be a little harder to get through than normal this weekend.

We've got the street numbers you need — and more importantly, the ones you need to avoid — from the NYPD.

Saturday, June 2

There will be a juvenile diabetes walk-a-thon in Howard Beach on Saturday, road closures are as follows:

  • 101st Street between 159th Avenue and 160th Avenue
  • 160th Avenue between 101st Street and 100th Street
  • 100th Street between 160th Avenue and 157th Avenue
  • 157th Avenue between 100th Street and 82nd Street
  • 82nd Street between 157th Avenue and 158th Avenue
  • 84th Street between 158th Street and 157th Street
  • 157th Avenue between 84th Street and 101st Street

All streets will be closed for the walk-a-thon.

Sunday, June 3

There will be a Queens Lesbian and Gay Pride Parade, along with a festival.

The parade will run down 37th Avenue between 85th and 75th streets.

The festival will close the following streets:

  • 75th Street between Roosevelt Avenue and 37th Avenue     
  • 37th Road between 73rd Street and 77th Street

The Main Street Summer Walk will close Main Street between 71st Roard and 72nd Avenue.
