Weather Service Calls For Rush Hour Snow

Things could get a little rough during the evening commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Monday evening commute.

According to a statement issued Monday morning, the NWS expects snow during the afternoon rush hour — up to an inch — that will then turn into rain into the evening and overnight.

The hazardous weather outlook covers parts of northeastern New Jersey and New York City, including all of Queens.

If you're driving either into or out of Manhattan — and with trains shutting down for FASTRACK you might have to — be sure to excercise extra caution.
