Weather Service Calls For Rush Hour Snow

Things could get a little rough during the evening commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Monday evening commute.

According to a statement issued Monday morning, the NWS expects snow during the afternoon rush hour — up to an inch — that will then turn into rain into the evening and overnight.

The hazardous weather outlook covers parts of northeastern New Jersey and New York City, including all of Queens.
