Share Your Autumn Photos

Fall is about family fun, filled with plenty of photo opportunities.

Whether you snap a pic of a wonderfully carved pumpkin, a scarily painted face, or an afternoon of leaf-peeping, now you can share it with the rest of the community in our Snapshots open blog.

Our new open blog, Snapshots, hopes to be a place where you can share these great images with the people who will appreciate them the most.

And it’s easy to share.

Visit the Snapshots blog here and click on the open text box under the heading to create a post and upload a photo.

Or, from the homepage, follow these steps:

• Sign in to your Patch. (Click “Join” if you don’t have an account yet.)
• Click the "Blogs" tab, near the top of the homepage and then locate the Snapshots – New Hyde Park blog in the left-hand column. Click on it.
• Click in the box that says, “Write a new post” and then click on “Article” at the top.
• Give your post a headline, enter the body of the story and upload your photos.
• Click “Post now.”
