Queens Ys Host Veterans Day Mini Camps for Youths

Forest Hills' Central Queens Y leads trip to Sportime USA, while Little Neck's Samuel Field Y will take kids to Puppetworks.

The Central Queens Y will host a Veterans Day trip for local schoolchildren to an indoor amusement center where they will be able to take part in a variety of activities, including laser tag.

The Y’s mini-camp, which is aimed at children in kindergarten through sixth grade, will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 11.

Attendees will travel to Elmsford’s Sportime USA, where they will be able to play laser tag, rock climb, try their hand at more than 150 arcade games, go on rides, take a swing at the site’s batting cages and drop by its pool hall.
