This is something I've been trying to do a lot more lately — sit in the park with a book. It's really nice to unplug and ignore the phone and take in a little sun.
Especially for someone who works in front of a laptop all day.
In some parts of the city it's easier than others. Forest Hills, thankfully, has no shortage of green space.
So where do you go when you want to unwind in the park with a book or the paper?
In this neighborhood, you've got everything from Forest Park to Flushing Meadows Corona Park close at hand. You've also got your smaller green spaces as well, like MacDonald Park.
