Grab and Go Kids Planner!

Looking for something to do with the kids? Here are a few ideas around Queens.

Start the weekend early and bring the kids to the Japanese Cuddle-Up Story Time at the Forest Hills Library, an early literacy program for babies and toddlers conducted in Japanese by parents & caregivers.

The story time includes great books, rhymes, and songs with active participation from parents encouraged.  Friday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. Visit Forest Hills Library for more information.

Hit the New York Hall of Science for Sid the Science Kid Family Day.  Meet and take a photo with Sid, enjoy hands on activities including fab lab investigations, explore insects, check out cool machines and see Sid and his friends in action in your favorite episodes.

Sea Lion Feedings at the Queens Zoo!  Whether they’re high-fiving their keepers, showing off their dives, or catching fish on the fly, these aquatic acrobats love to impress a crowd. These three daily feedings are one of the zoos most popular attractions and will delight kids of all ages.

While the sea lions chow down, zookeepers demonstrate how they check the animals’ health and give other routine care.  Saturday, March 5 & Sunday, March 6: 11:15 a.m., 2:00 p.m., & 4:00 p.m. Visit Sea Lion Exhibit.  53-51 111th Street in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

The classic kids favorite Annie comes to the Theatre by the Bay from March 5 through March 27.  With a cast of over 50 performers, the whole family will enjoy favorite songs including “Tomorrow” and “Maybe.” Saturday March 5, 12, 26 at 8:30 pm and Sundays March 6, 13, 20, 27 at 3 pm at Bay Terrace Jewish Center in Bayside.
