Forest Hills Under Winter Weather Advisory

Cold, snow, sleet impact Queens, New York City.

As if the Superstorm wasn't bad enough.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Forest Hills and much of the region Wednesday afternoon.

New York's expected Nor'Easter arrived today, first dropping a slushy, wintry mix before devolving into mostly snow on the surface of roads in the area.

Already, streets and sidewalks in Queens have seen snow and slush. The advisory is expected to last until 6 a.m. Thursday morning. 

Between 2 and 4 inches of snow is possible, and wind gusts could be as quick as 60 miles per hour in the storm.

Temperatures are also expected to drop to the low 30's.
