Forest Hills Tennis Stadium Makes 'Mad Men' Cameo...Sort Of

Hit show has characters chasing the Rolling Stones to a concert in Forest Hills.

Sunday night's episode of Mad Men featured a cameo by the in its heyday...or at least a soundstage stand-in.

The episode featured the show's protagonist, ad man Don Draper, chasing the Rolling Stones to a concert in Forest Hills to try and please a client. It was directed by show star Jon Hamm.

Gothamist has some photos of the concert in question, which did in fact happen in 1966. The show, a period piece set in the 1960's, frequently uses real historical events as touchstones for the characters.

This isn't the first time that Forest Hills has had a brush with TV fame, however.
