Thanks to two storms in as many years, isn't what it used to be. Despite the loss of trees during the macroburst and last year's hurricane, local residents will always be drawn to the green space in the middle of Queens Boulevard.
Whether the shade trees in the park are young or decades old, it will always be a great place to play a game of chess.
