Forest Hills' Night Out Against Crime!

Police, local leaders will take over MacDonald Park on August 2.

What are you doing the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 2? Whatever it is, it can't be as important as attending the Night Out Against Crime in

The 112 Precinct Community Council is reminding all residents that the Night Out Against Crime is designed as a community-building event, where people can meet their neighbors and local businesses and take the safety of the community into their own hands.

In addition to free food, there will be entertainment, musical performances, and safety seminars.

There will also be free VIN etching, a program that helps prevent auto theft.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2.

In case of rain, everything will take place inside the , directly across the street from the park.
