Forest Hills Church to Hold Wakes for Pastor
Our Lady Queen of Martyrs will hold two wakes and a funeral on Thursday and Friday for Msgr. Joseph Funaro.
There will be wakes on Thursday and Friday for the late Msgr. Joseph Funaro, who was the pastor emeritus at Forest Hills’ Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church.
The first wake will be held today from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and second one will take place on Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A special vigil mass of transferal will be held on Friday at 7 p.m.

The funeral and burial will take place on Aug. 17 at 10:15 a.m. at Westbury’s Holy Rood Cemetery.
