Digging Out Again: Forest Hills In Photos

Towering snowdrifts and buried cars are dotted all over the neighborhood.

Forest Hills was blasted by yet another snowstorm on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Snow drifts piled six- and eight-feet-tall were all over the neighborhood, from Forest Hills High School to Metropolitan Avenue.

High school students and local workers trying to make an extra buck were wandering the streets, negotiating with homeowners and digging out walkways and buried cars.

On Austin Street, shopowners and workers chipped away at layers of ice that had been buried under more than a foot of snow in places.
