Central Queens Y to Hold Hebrew Classes in 2014
Center will offer 11-week course for beginners and more advanced Hebrew speakers.
Forest Hills' Central Queens Y will begin holding Hebrew classes for local residents early next year.
The Y, located at 67-09 108th St., will offer an 11-week Hebrew course that will be held every Wednesday, beginning Jan. 8.
A beginners' class will run from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. and costs $84 for members and $110 for nonmembers. A more advanced class will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and costs $110 for members and $154 for nonmembers.
Instructor Chana Ramon will teach attendees at various levels of fluency on how to improve their conversational Hebrew.

The Y will also provided door-to-door transportation for those in need of transportation assistance.
