Alternate Side Parking Suspended for Sept. 2

Drivers will not need to move their cars as the city celebrates Labor Day.

Alternate side parking has been suspended for Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day, according to the city's Department of Transportation.

There will be no street cleaning on Monday, so it will not be necessary for vehicle owners in the five boroughs to move their cars.

Additionally, parking meters will not be in effect on the holiday.
