Alternate Side Parking Suspended

All other parking rules, including meters, are in effect.

Alternate side parking has been suspended Thursday in observance of the Solemnity of the Ascension, according to the city's Department of Transportation.

Parking meters and all other regulations will be in effect in Forest Hills and throughout the rest of the five boroughs.

The holiday, which is also known as Holy Thursday, commemorates the bodily ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven.
