Addabbo to Host Job Fair at Shops at Atlas Park
More than 100 employers will take part in Oct. 18 event.
State Sen. Joseph Addabbo, D-Howard Beach, is hosting a job fair at Glendale’s Shops at Atlas Park on Oct. 18.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shopping center, located at 80-00 Cooper Ave. in Glendale.
The job fair will take place indoors. Business attire is strongly suggested and attendees should bring copies of their resume.

More than 100 potential employers representing a variety of sectors are expected to take part in the event.
The workshop schedule for the event includes a 10:30 a.m. discussion, “Elevator Speech: Selling Yourself at the Interview,” and another talk about interview strategies at 11:30 a.m.

Another workshop, “You Think You Know the ABCs, Think Again,” will be held at 12:30 p.m.
