New York Lottery officials have confirmed that the winning ticket for the June 23 $1,000 a Day for Life drawing was purchased at a 7-ELEVEN in Bayside. This is New York’s first Cash4Life winner, with the winning ticket worth an estimated $7,000,000.
Lottery officials urge the ticket holder, who has not yet come forward, to sign the back of the ticket immediately and to contact the Lottery to learn how to claim the prize.
The winning numbers for the Cash4Life drawing were 05, 16, 21,33, 47 and cash ball 04. The ticket was purchased from the 7-ELEVEN at 41-000 Bell Boulevard in Bayside.
To play, players choose five numbers between one and 60, and then select a “Cash Ball” between one and four. In addition to the two “For Life” prizes, the Cash4Life game offers seven other prize levels with prizes ranging from $2 to $2,500.
Cash4Life tickets are available exclusively in New York and New Jersey and are sold for $2 each. The game allows players a chance to win one of two “For Life” prizes per ticket. Winners have 60 days from the date that the ticket is claimed and verified to decide whether to choose the annuity prize or the cash value of the annuity, which is established by the associated Lottery directors prior to the drawing.
Ticket sales began on Friday, June 13. The first drawing was held on June 16 at the Lawrenceville, New Jersey Lottery studio, where they will continue to take place Monday through Thursday at approximately 9 p.m. The next drawing is on Thursday, June 27.
