Schervier Nursing Care Center Presents “Values in Action” Award to Diana Adaza

Bon Secours New York Health System’s Schervier Nursing Care Center, specializing in long-term  and rehabilitation care in the Riverdale section of The Bronx, proudly announces Diana Adaza, MDS, as the Values in Action award recipient for July 2013.

The prestigious Values in Action award is presented monthly to recognize an individual who embodies the mission of Schervier and exemplifies Bon Secours’ core values, namely delivering superior quality care and service to each resident with compassion, respect, integrity and justice. Adaza, a Minimum Data Set Assessor at Schervier, was nominated by her peers for her positive attitude and strong leadership on its clinical team, and for her consistency in delivering quality work.

“Diana is well-deserving of this award, as she is a staple of the exceptional service and care we provide,” said Stephen Kazanjian, Director of Mission at Schervier. “Although most of her time is dedicated to paper work and documentation needs, she willingly attends to residents’ needs, and is a true team player who helps others when needed, and wants what is best for our residents and for our ministry. She consistently demonstrates a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and displays the utmost respect for others.”

A Values in Action ceremony was held in honor of Adaza on July 30, 2013, to honor her and recognize her accomplishments.  She was presented with a certificate of excellence, along with a small gift on behalf of Schervier by Kazanjian.
