Wednesday: 112th Community Council Holiday Party, Toddler Time at the Library

The 112th Precinct Community Council will hold its annual holiday party today at 7 p.m.

The event will take place at JHS 190 Russell Sage, located at 68-17 Austin St. in Forest Hills. It will include food, a band and the results of the council's holiday poster contest.

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will offer its Toddler Time program at 11:30 a.m. 

The class, which is aimed at children between the ages of 18 and 35 months, includes stories, singing songs, rhymes, finger plays and movement games. Preregistration is required.

Forest Hills' Barnes & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St., is holding its children's story time program at 10:30 a.m.

The event includes an age-appropriate story and other activities.
