Wednesday: Halloween at the Library, Storytime at Barnes & Noble

And state Sen. Joseph Addabbo will help seniors apply for reduced fare Metro cards in Middle Village.

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will host a Halloween event for children between the ages of 8 and 12 years.

Attendees will be able to listen to terrifying stories, sample treats and take part in other activities. The event begins at 4 p.m.

Barnes & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St. in Forest Hills, will hold its weekly Children's Storytime event at 10:30 a.m.

Participants will listen to an age appropriate story and take part in other activities.

State Sen. Joseph Addabbo, D-Howard Beach, will host a Metro card van in Middle Village at 1 p.m.

The event will take place at the Golden Age Club at St. Margaret's Senior Center, located at 66-05 79th Place. The senator's staff will assist seniors, ages 65 years and above, apply for reduced fare Metro cards.
