Wednesday: Brazilian Jazz at the Y, CB 6 Meeting

The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St. in Forest Hills, will host an afternoon of Brazilian jazz today.
Musicians from Queens College’s Aaron Copland School of Music will perform jazzy Bossa Nova songs during the concert, which begins at 1:30 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested for admission.
Community Board 6 will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. in suite 202 of the Kew Gardens Community Center, located at 80-02 Kew Gardens Road.
