Wednesday: 112th Community Council Meeting, Toddler Time at the Library

Also, Barnes & Noble will hold its weekly children's story time event.

The 112th Precinct Community Council will hold its monthly meeting today at 7:30 p.m. at the precinct, located at 68-40 Austin St.

Chief Thomas Chan, of the NYPD’s Community Affairs Bureau, will attend the meeting and 112th Precinct Capt. Thomas Conforti will give updates on safety concerns, discuss crime statistics for the community and answer questions.

Forest Hills' Barne & Noble, located at 70-00 Austin St., will hold its weekly children's story time event today at 10:30 a.m.

Attendees will be able to listen to an age appropriate story and take part in other activities.

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will offer its Toddler Time class for kids at 11:30 a.m.

The program, aimed at children between the ages of 18 and 35 months and their parents, allows youngsters to listen to stories, sing songs and rhymes, do finger plays and take part in movement games. Preregistration is required.
