Tuesday: Men's Health Program at the Library, Swim Week at the Y

The library's program will provided tips for men on how to stay healthy and fit.

The Forest Hills Library is hosting Take Control: Gear Up for Men’s Health today from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The event will include tips and tools on how to stay healthy and fit. The library is located at 108-19 71st Ave.

The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St. in Forest Hills, is hosting swim week every day this week through Thursday.

The class is aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 12 years. Level 1 swimmers will receive personal training from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day, while Level 2 will run from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and Level 3 from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The program is meant to improve basic skills and help attendees get comfortable in the water.
