Thursday: Trip to Queens Botanical Garden, Restaurant Week

The Central Queens Y is leading a trip to the Queens Botanical Garden this morning.

The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., is leading a trip to the Queens Botanical Garden today from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will pay $12 to attend the event.


The day trip will include a guided tour through the gardens. Attendees should bring their own lunches.

And Queens Restaurant Week kicked off on Monday, giving borough residents the opportunity to eat prix fixe meals at more than 40 borough eateries, including a number of sites in Forest Hills, such as The Family Restaurant and Jade Eatery and Lounge.
