Thursday: Picture Book Time at the Library, Healthy Eating Workshop

The Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will offer its Picture Book Time program for children today.
The class, which begins at 3:30 p.m., includes stories, rhymes, singing and playing movement games. The program is aimed at children, ages 3 to 5 years, Preregistration is required.
The Central Queens Y, located at 67-09 108th St., is holding a Thanksgiving/Chanukah luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m.
A full kosher lunch will be served and musical entertainment will be provided by Lee Perry Gross. For more information, call 718-268-5011, ext. 160.
And the Samuel Field Y will host a workshop titled Healthy Eating Tips: A Parent Workshop from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Whitstone's Cap Connects, located at 163-59 17th Ave.
