Thursday: Golf Classic, Venture House Celebration

State Sen. Joseph Addabbo, D-Howard Beach, will hold mobile hours at the Maspeth Library, located at 69-70 Grand Ave., beginning at 5:30 p.m. Residents will be able to drop by and voice their concerns.
The Venture House, located at 150-10 Hillside Ave. in Jamaica, is hosting a 25th anniversary celebration at 4:30 p.m.
The site helps find employment for those with serious mental illness. The event will include a garden party, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and live music.
And the Bayside Business Association will host its annual golf classic. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Bayside Kiwanis. For more information, call 718-229-2277.
