Thursday: Cheryl Pepsi Riley Concert, Crafts at the Library

Concert on 70th Avenue is part of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce's Jazz Thursday events.

Cheryl Pepsi Riley, who sang the 1988 hit “Thanks for My Child,” will perform at 7 p.m. today at 70th Avenue and Austin Street.

The performance is the second of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce’s Jazz Thursday concerts in August. The show is free and seating will be available.

And the Forest Hills Library, located at 108-19 71st Ave., will offer a story and craft hour for children between the ages of 3 and 5 years.

The program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
